Position Summary
Responsible for all aspects of the analytics for our customers. Provide a single point of contact for all projects and help define project scope and objectives along with the project sponsors. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, resource plans, and status reports to ensure analytics are completed on time. Gather and integrate appropriate data, conduct analyses, choose appropriate output/visualization for the end customer, and communicate findings effectively. Ensure adherence to the highest of quality standards and maintain confidentiality and project documentation.

Your Role:
Aggregate data from different sources and perform analysis for our customers
Experience working with claims data from commercial payers and Medicare
Work with large and complex SQL databases and develop ad-hoc reports. Basic SQL knowledge is preferred but those with a strong desire to learn will also be considered
Communicate analysis, ideas, and findings using data visualization techniques (Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, etc.) and suggest implications and potential next steps
Extremely strong problem solving skills with the ability to break down a complex problem into discreet steps, determine the analytics needed to solve each step, then create outputs to help drive action
Form hypotheses, then analyze data to independently test the ideas
Work with data architects to translate requirements into technical specifications and assist in data and output validation
Work closely with technical teams and business users, to understand the relation between data elements and business processes
Passionate about hospitals and healthcare industry (Prior experience in hospitals or healthcare is preferred but is not mandatory)
Positive, people-oriented, entrepreneurial, and energetic attitude
Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, analytics design, measure definitions, data integration and usability to assist with the development of enterprise level data concepts and metadata

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent experience) and 2 years relevant experience

Physical Requirements/Strengths needed & Physical Demands:
Sedentary category requiring exertion up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally and uses negligible amounts of force to move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time.
