Overview

Clinical Nurse III - Medical Surgical Unit

PRN, 72 hours per pay period, Days

Position Summary: Provides pro fessional nursing care within an assigned unit; coordinates care planning with other disciplines.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum Educationa: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.

Minimum Experience: Minimum of three (3) years professional experience.

Continuing Education: Twenty (20) hours required annually (10 to enhance clinical expertise); or Fifteen (15) hours required annually, plus ACLS certification; or Ten (10) hours required annually, plus specialty certification; or Ten (10) hours required annually, plus ACLS instructor.

Licensure Requirement: Valid Tennessee RN license. Yearly infection control, fire, safety and CPR inservices are required
