This position will provide nursing assistance to the Student Health Services pr! actitioners, and provide nursing services to the UTC student, faculty and staff community. Responsibilities include: assisting the practitioners in medical procedures and decisions which have direct impact on physical health. Keeping health record in accordance with TN laws and regulations. Providing presentations at Student Orientations for parents and incoming students. Maintaining relationships with community members and the School of Nursing and other academic departments. Assisting in scheduling and communications with labs.

Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing or commensurate training and experience. Must hold current Tennessee Nursing license or be eligible to secure license. Experience in a college health setting with college age students preferred. Clinical nursing skills as evidenced by references and previous experience. Customer service skills and ability to communicate with students, faculty and! staff. Ability to communicate with parents who have concerns ! about their student’s health. Experience and ability to maintain electronic medical records.
