Baptist Memorial Hospital Memphis is seeking an Administrative Director for the Malignant Hematology/Blood and Marrow Transplant (BMT) program.

BMH Memphis has identified the need for a strong leader to take this program to the next level of expertise. The goals of the program is to grow the volume of transplants, develop outreach programs for our transplant and Malignant Hematology patient population, and maintain our FACT Accreditation. Strategic planning and execution of plans are an integral part of the position.

Purpose of Position and Scope of Responsibility :
Develops, administers, directs, and implements BMT and Malignant Hematology transplant patient care activities, working in close collaboration with Entity Administration. Responsibilities include but are not limited to standardization of systems, identification of efficiencies, financial oversight for programs/services, integration of performance improvement strategies, design of strategic transplant business initiatives, processes and communication plans which support the BMT program. Works collaboratively with all hospital departments to coordinate nursing integration between the inpatient unit and the clinic and service line development.

Manages and assures compliance with all JCAHO standards, FACT standards and National Marrow Donor Program Standards. Utilizes data bases for transplant outcomes to develop quality improvement initiatives to improve services to the patients and community.

Reporting Relation :
Reports directly to Hospital Administration and interacts with Medical and Nursing Leadership regarding all essential function. Has direct accountability for overall program development and clinic operations. Has shared accountability working in partnership with designated entity administrator, CNO, Transplant Medical Directors and Quality Department and support staff in the establishment and achievement of Transplant goals/objectives. Works collaboratively with Entity Administrator, CNO, Medical Directors and other Administrative Staff members to ensure program/service development and/or delivery of care are in alignment with overall strategic direction. Qualifications:
Qualifications:
MasterĂ¢€™s Degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Health Care Administration or related field. 3 years of progressive, outcome oriented leadership experience in healthcare with experience in a competitive managed care market. Knowledge of health care issues, trends, legal compliance and managed care with emphasis in all components of clinical and business operations Ability to foster collaborative partnerships in the development, implementation and administration of transplant services and program delivery. Extensive knowledge in quality/performance improvement theories and analysis. Experience/knowledge with development of clinic programs to support the continuum of care. Experience/knowledge of FACT and NMDP Standards. CB
