Director (RN) - Medical Surgical / Intensive Care Unit!

The Birth Place is one of the region's premier women's centers offering the highest quality care and delivery of infants and new mothers. This includes 8 labor delivery rooms, 7 labor/triage rooms, high risk OB with a 22-bed NICU. We offer a full spectrum of services from education classes for pregnant moms to lactation consultation and support after th! e baby is born. Our neonatal intensive care unit for high- ris! k newborns provides care for the smallest premature newborn to the ill, full-term baby.

SEEKING experienced Director (RN) to join our Parkridge East Team!

Responsibilities:
The Department Director must be able to:

• Provide leadership and direction for the department.
• Oversee financial management of the department.
• Manage department personnel.
• Establish and maintain effective communication.
• Demonstrate clinical knowledge and expertise.
• Direct the performance improvement activities of the department.
• Maintain a safe department work environment.

Qualifications:
State of Tennessee Registered Nurse required. Graduate of an accredited RN Program, BSN preferred. BLS, ACLS, (current), PALS within 6 mos. 3 acute care setting as an RN required. 1 year management experience preferred.
