Description: Southern Tennessee Medical Center is at the momment seeking for RN/Cath Lab/Rehab (PRN) right now, this vacancy will be placed in Tennessee. Primarily responsible for the care of patients undergoi! ng diagnostic cardiac catheterizations and interventional radiology procedures. The RN is responsible for assisting in all procedures, providing patient education, assessment and monitoring, administering medications and participating in performance improvement activities. Provides age specific directed care for the adult and geriatric individuals, i.e., those tasks necessary for physical care and comfort, supportive tasks and teaching according to standards of care and cultural diversity. Participates in Quality Assurance and practices Infection Control policies.

For Cath Rehab

Provides safe nursing care to patients during a monitored exercise program post open heart, coronary stent, valve replacements, etc. The RN is responsible for assisting in chart reviews, providing patient education, initial and follow up assessments, cardiac arrhythmia monitoring, administering medications as needed and participating in performance improvement activities. Provides ! age specific directed care for the adult and geriatric individ! uals, i.e., those tasks necessary for physical care and comfort, supportive tasks and teaching according to standards of care and cultural diversity. Participates in Quality Assurance and practices Infection Control policies.
Must be licensed in the state of Tennessee as a RN.

ACLS required within 1 year.
