Description: Bristol Regional Medical Center is currently interviewing Patient Care Tech right now, this career will be placed in Tennessee. Provides direct patient care and support services to the nursing unit under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Routine responsibilities include: providing bedside care to patient, performing routine nursing procedures, transporting patients, supplies and equipment, routine housekeeping duties and documentation of care and procedures performed.
High School Graduate or GED. Able to provide care to patients with varying levels of illness under the direction of RN and LPN.
BLS is required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other dire! ct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care! Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALS.
