Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 04/15/20! 13Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Family Practice Nurse Practitioner need in Nashville, Tennessee. The opportunity is April 15- May 31, 2013 and the hours are Monday-Friday 8-5. Nurse Practitioner must have their own DEA and be able to prescribe. Nurse Practitioner will see an average of 10-15 patients per day on a walk-in basis, as patients are employees of the client.
A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
