Educator (RN) UAMS Delta Center on Aging, located in West Memphis, AR has an opening for a Nurse Educator (RN). The Nurse Educator will report to the Director of Education of the Delta Center on Aging. He/She will be! the Primary Instructor for the Home Caregiver Training Program. This position requires the ability to coordinate and teach a certified home caregiver training program.
Strong organizational skills, leadership, and communication skills are a must. Some teaching experience and/or certificate of attendance in an instructor workshop are necessary. Candidates should be able to work well with others, problem solve, and be capable of working with little supervision or oversight. Self-motivation and a positive attitude is a must.
The position requires an RN License plus 2 years of nursing experience, of which 1 year must be in the provision of home health or long term care. A BSN is preferred including supervisory experience in long term, home, or community health. Teaching, program management and geriatrics experience is preferred.
