Location: Madison Tennessee

Description: National College of Business & Technology is presently looking of Adjunct Faculty - Health Information Technology right now, this occupation will be placed in Tennessee. National College of Business & Technology's Madison, TN campus is seeking qualified applicants for Adjunct (Part Time) Faculty positions within our CAHIIM-accredited Health Information Technology program. The Health Information Technology program of study provides students with the skills necessary to compile, organize, analyze, evaluate and secure information used in today's health care industry. We are looking particularly for those individuals who meet the job requirements specified below, who are currently practitioners in the field and who have a desire to pass that information on to others.Openings are available for morning and/or evening classes. Classes meet one day per week for either 4 hours (for non-lab programs) or 5 hours (for lab-based classes). Academic terms last between 10 and 12 weeks and start throughout the year.National College of Business & Technology is an equal opportunity employer. Individuals selected for these positions must, at a minimum, meet at least one of the following criteria: Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Health Information Technology with valid certification as an RHIT or RHIA and 3 years' direct experience in Health Information. Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Technology with valid certification as an RHIA. Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a medical field with 3 years direct experience in Coding or certification as a CPC, CPC-H, or CCS. A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. Minimum of an Associate's Degree and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician's Assistant. Verification of current credentials will be part of the selection process.
