Certified Nursing Assistant

Location: Memphis Tennessee

Description: Ecumen is at the momment seeking for Certified Nursing Assistant right now, this vacancy will be placed in Tennessee. This position is responsible for providing personal care and designated health-related services to maintain the resident’s physical and emotional well-being.

1. Assist with a! ctivities of daily living per individualized care plan including:

• Bathing
• Dressing and Grooming
• Personal Hygiene
• Medication Administration (Medication Aides Only)
• Meal preparation and assisting with residents who need help eating
• Vitals
• Toileting
• Other treatments as assigned

2. Help each resident to reach and maintain the highest level of living and independence.

3. Prepares documentation as required including but not limited to reporting changes in physical and emotional condition such as change in attitude, loss of appetite or weight, illness, physical/emotional changes, etc.

4. Promotes independence offering choices and fostering self-help skills.

5. Responds appropriately to safety hazards, fire drills severe weather, and other emergency situations.

6. Knowledge of, observes and follows all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the f! acility including but not limited to: Vulnerable Adult and Abu! se Policy, Resident’s Rights, OSHA, Universal Precaution, Right to Know, and MSDS

7. Good steward of time and resources; supplies and equipment.

8. Preserves confidential information through following HIPAA guidelines.

9. Consistently customer focused by providing excellent service, encouraging and respecting customer’s individuality and treating people with dignity and respect.

10. Attends in-services and staff meetings.

11. Other duties as assigned.

Skills & Requirements

• Successful completion of a state approved nursing assistant training program and current certification.
• Must have flexible hours. We are hiring for all shifts, full and part time.
• Ability to communicate effectively including written and verbal skills.
• Must work well both individually and as part of a team through respect, collaboration, and dedication.
• Ability to successfully interact with a div! erse customer base.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Demonstrates positive attitude, high integrity and ethical awareness.
• Successful completion of health screening.
