Responsibilities:
·
Direct responsibility for Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit and Telemetry monitoring technicians.
·
Evaluate, plan, advance and monitor clinical practice of units and services.
·
Work in concert with administration and other organization and clinical leaders.
·
Provide administrative direction for development and evaluation of all nursing employees
·
Contribute to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational and Certification efforts.
·
Assure that HCAHPS, patient, employee, and physicians satisfaction scores are all in acceptable ranges and improving.
·
Accountable for building and directing teams to improve core measures and other Joint Commission initiatives.
·
Ongoing communication with nurses both one on one and t! hrough rounding, meetings and Clinical Unit Councils.

Qualifications:

Current Kentucky RN licensure required.
·
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
·
Current ACLS and BLS certification.
