JOB SUMMARY:
The Clinical Systems Analyst is responsible for providing information system and inf! ormation management support for multiple clinical departments at Methodist Healthcare. The Clinical Systems Analyst will be primarily responsible for the selection, implementation and support of clinical information systems software. Other responsibilities include training and coordination of hardware installation and support. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in The Methodist Mission, Vision and Values.

EDUCATION/TRAINING REQUIRED :
BA/BS in clinical discipline such as nursing, respiratory therapy or other applicable degree plus four years experience in healthcare information systems or two years experience in information systems at Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare
OR
AAS In clinical discipline such as nursing, respiratory therapy or other applicable degree plus five years experience in healthcare information systems
OR
MA/MS in a clinical discipline, management information systems or other applicable degree plus two years experi! ence in healthcare information systems.

RELEVANT E! XPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Demonstrated ability to work independently and to consistently exercise sound judgment and initiative in a wide range of circumstances.
Ability to travel any area of the organization, both local and remote as needed. Must provide own transportation.
Ability to read, comprehend and prepare moderately complex written materials such as software documentation.
Ability to communicate verbally and in writing information management concepts and methods to non-technical users.
Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office preferred.
