We are seeking Certified Nurse Technicians at the West Tennessee Correctional Complex located ub! Henning, TN.
Provides basic offender healthcare under the direction of nursing staff. Assists offenders with performance of activities of daily living, vital sign monitoring and documenting and reporting changes to healthcare team.
High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an approved Certified Nursing Assistant training program and current certification in accordance with state requirements
- Current enrollment in nursing school or 6 months patient care experience in at least two of the following areas: CNA, PCA, or paramedic in nursing home, hospital or equivalent experience may serve as substitution for nurse assistant certification
- One year experience in skilled or long term care setting, home health or physician office
- Experience in a correctional setting preferred
