The School of Nursing is one of seven departments in the College of Health, Education and Professional Studies and reports to the Dean of the College.

POSITION: Assistant Professor

EFFECTIVE DATE: August 1, 2013 (or successful candidate's availability). This is a twelve-month, full-time, tenure-track appointment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: This is a newly created position in which the successful candidate will teach courses in both the Family Nurse Practitioner and the Doctor of Nursing Practice Concentrations. This candidate will have a record of teaching in the university setting, ! and an active program of research. Experience teaching in an o! nline program is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS: The successful candidate will hold a Master's degree in Nursing as either a Family or Adult Nurse Practitioner with national certification and licensure in the state of Tennessee and a Doctor of Nursing Practice or PhD in Nursing or a related field.
