Project Manager-Nursing(Non-Mgt)

Location: Memphis Tennessee

Description: St. Jude Children's Research Hospital is hiring Project Manager-Nursing(Non-Mgt) right now, this job will be placed in Tennessee. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing Excellence, the Project Manager is responsible for overall leadership, coordination and development of a range of strategic in! itiatives, complex programs and projects for Nursing and all other Patient Care Services disciplines. The project manager will partner with key organizational and operational leaders to identify and achieve priorities, goals and objectives for each initiative. The project manager will provide expertise in short and long-term assignments including team development, monitoring, and guidance; work process analysis and improvement, data analysis and creative problem solving, and facilitation of various strategic initiatives. This position provides leadership for organizational and department initiatives to ensure project objectives are achieved in an efficient and effective manner and are consistent with the broader goals and objectives of the institution's strategic plan. Manages overall conduct of projects, directs project resources through definition, planning, implementation and transition of initiatives. (KD)

WORK SCHEDULE:
Monday - Friday, 8 - 4:30

Occasional weekends

Job Qualification! s:
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Five (5) years' experience in a hospital or healthcare setting required.

Experience in project management, leadership role, and/or quality required.

Experience leading and facilitating work teams or related experience required.

LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:
None

OTHER CREDENTIALS:
Certification as PMP (Professional in Project Management) issued by the Project Management Institution or related specialty such as CPHQ or Nurse-Executive strongly preferred.
