Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 11/0! 4/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Great opportunity for a CRNA at a modern medical facility in Tennessee providing long term coverage. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday from 7am - 3pm, with no weekends and no call. Cases include general bread and butter, orthopedics, and some limited neurology; no obstetrics are required. The CRNA will be 100% supervised. A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
